on it and using it to test new documents for quality, transmission time,
and for practice.

You will need both your account number and password (security code) to
access the service through the web site or telephone.  You may use
either or both interfaces as you choose.  They are completely integrated
so changes through one interface are reflected in the other.

Documents and lists can be easily uploaded through the web interface
by selecting the "Account Services" button and following the web
interface.

Documents
---------
We recommend loading documents using Postscript format, or PDF,
whenever possible.  This will give you the best possible results and
your faxes will stand out better because of their higher quality.
Please contact support first if you are planning to scan a document
and then upload it.

You can use our Convert to Postscript printer driver for Windows
to "print" any document to a Postscript file that can be uploaded to
our web site.  This driver software is attached and can also be
downloaded from our web site.

With Adobe programs, to avoid problems with font substitution turn
on "Embed All Fonts" in any Adobe program that you are using to
create pdf files.  The attached document explains where this
setting is in Adobe Distiller.

Lists
-----
Note that lists uploaded through the web interface should
come from Excel spreadsheets or text files.

Lists should consist of one fax number per line.  Use 10 or 11 digit
phone numbers, i.e., always include the area code.  Punctuation such
as ().-/ is acceptable as it will be ignored.  Contact support for other
formatting issues or if you intend to use fax/merge to personalize
each fax.

If you are starting from a program other than Excel, use "Save As" to
save your lists as Excel spreadsheets or text files before uploading them.


Attached you will find a Microsoft Word document covering the telephone
based broadcast fax program.  It also contains some important information
on the web interface.  Remember that even if you plan to use the web
interface exclusively, that you can use the telephone interface when
you are away from your computer;  all you need is a telephone.
